Unique Jewellery Candle | + GIVEAWAY

Today’s blogpost is a very special blog post as I have been given the wonderful opportunity to host a giveaway for you guys. After reaching out to the kind folks at JewelCandle they sent over a few candles for me to review as well as allowing me to host a giveaway for one of you lucky readers to receive one of these candles for free. As well as a 15% off code for any item on the website!!! (except for sale items)

Now who doesn’t love candles, they really do make a home cosy and they add such a lovely aroma to the room. I’ve been a fan of candles for a few years now and I have a fairly large collection including a few Yankee Candles. When I first heard about this company I was quite intrigued by the integration of jewellery into the candle wax and thought this was such a unique concept combining two things into one.

On the back of the candle is an illustration showing the jewellery selected and a foil which has the piece placed inside, it is just behind the glass so you can see how far the candle will need to burn before you can retrieve the foil. The jewellery itself is wrapped in a heat resistant foil so it isn’t ruined by the heat of the flame and doesn’t become damaged by the wax either.

There is a large selection of candles on the website with many scents to choose from, I personally selected Monoi de Tahiti (white candle) and Mulled Wine (red candle). What influenced my decisions with these was the jewellery that these come with. On the website you get a preview of what jewellery could come with each candle, these can have a value between £10 to £250, once you have retrieved the jewel from the wax you can find out the jewels worth on the website.

My first impressions of these candles was really positive, the smell from each candle was lovely and has a beautiful aroma to them that really fills the room when lit. I had both candles burning in the living room and the smell carried throughout the house which is something that is hard to find in a candle as many smell nice in the jar but fail to fill the room with it. Out of the two candles the white candle was my personal favourite out of the two.

These scented cantles take about 10 to 15 hours to reveal the jewellery before it is able to be removed and can burn for about 90 to 125 hours in total. Which is a really good amount of time as you can enjoy the smell of the candle before the excitement of retrieving the jewellery happens. It is definitely something to experience as this is unique to this company.

JewelCandle is the only high-quality scented candle of its kind which incorporates genuine 925 Sterling Silver jewellery worth up to £250. Real pearls and stones of Zirconia, better known as Swarovski Crystals, are used as eye-catchers. All our jewellery is nickel-free and high-quality.

When the candle burnt down enough I was able to retrieve the foils, this process did get a little messy with the wax drying in the small crevasses but it wasn’t too difficult to open up. It left my hands smelling nice as well! I did get a little bit confused when I opened up the foil as the diamond on the ring was blue when on the website the candle shows a ring with a white diamond in the centre, additionally the bracelet was also a different design to the one shown in the pictures and it didn’t have a code for me to check the jewels worth, there are a few variances for me in regards to slight differences from pictures. It is almost like a lucky dip, never truly knowing what comes out of it. But I think that is the whole point of selecting these candles is to be surprised with what is revealed and overall the jewellery is so beautiful and really good quality that you don’t really mind what you end up getting.

There is also other options on the website such as bath bombs and gift bundles so if you wanted to try out other things you can. I think the items are priced really well, the candles are really good quality. But the added bonus of the jewellery included is something quite special. These products would make a great gift for Mother’s Day, Valentines, Anniversaries, Birthdays or even Christmas.
