After recently ordering some new jewellery online, I thought it was about time I showed you what I have ordered. I have quite a few piercings now and I love a good Ear Party filled with gorgeous earrings. It did take me a while to find some minimal jewellery that I liked the style of, that was affordable and cute. In my hunt, I stumbled across Fashionology who seemed to be the answer to my earring dreams. So if you are a fan of all things minimal these will be perfect for you.
So the jewellery that I ordered comes from a company called Fashionology, which based in the Netherlands. I initially found the company through their Instagram as the photos always looked amazing and the style was definitely something I was on the hunt for. The pieces themselves are inspired by architecture, interior design and street style.
So when I made the order initially I think it was around November time as they had 30% off the site as part of the companies anniversary promotion. With discounts to be had, I placed an order with much excitement about the arrival! It didn’t take too long to arrive at all to say it was coming from the Netherlands so shipping time was great. One thing that I ADORE is the packaging that the jewellery arrives in. If you request the free gift wrap the earrings come in a box which is tied with rope, as well as tissue paper and small pouches which hold the jewellery inside.
If there is someone in your life who has a collection of piercings the gift wrapping service is the perfect item to give to them. I know I would love to receive that as a gift! I think it is so important for companies to ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. This includes the whole unboxing experience. Nothing makes me happier than seeing items that I have purchased in wonderful packaging and presented nicely. It makes me want to return to the company more. So I think Fashionology have captured the whole customer experience perfectly with this. I think the photos illustrate that well.
In my order, I purchased some Tiny Hoop Earrings to add to my collection as well as Triple Dot Earrings and a Smokey Quartz Chain. They all look great and suit my ears perfectly. A lot of hoops are either 9mm or 10mm which is way too big for my ears. It was refreshing to see some tiny hoops they fit my ears nice and snug. They are a bit fiddly to get in, but once they’re in they’re in! The Smokey Quartz Chain is something that I can wear through multiple lobe piercings. The chain can weave through your ear piercings and it looks so quirky. I can’t wait to rock this look with my hair tied up.
The jewellery itself is actually good quality. With it being handcrafted using Silver and 14k Gold. With a quote from the website stating “We handcraft, handpick, and personally inspect every item to ensure that every piece of jewellery meets your quality standards.” When hunting for jewellery that you can wear on a more regular basis, finding pieces that don’t turn your ears green after one day is a good start. After wearing these for a while I have noticed no green appearing on my ears or the jewellery. But wearing it in the shower has darkened slightly where the joints for the dots connect. But this happens quite often with silver jewellery so it’s nothing out of the ordinary.
I have an ever-expanding collection of jewellery, with my latest being from Fashionology. I love their own unique twist and I can’t recommend Fashionology enough. I just hope they come out with a Rose Gold collection!
